This is a pretty good Ramen spot. The Tonkatsu (Pork Bone Ramen) is so delicious; the broth is the thing that just puts it miles above a lot of other Ramen I've had. The service here is also great; the servers are generally very friendly and inviting. They even have Japanese craft beer available (in bottles) and I highly recommend trying those too. The place is located right near Christie Station (Bloor line) so it's also super accessible and very tempting... maybe I'll go right now! *drools* Follow @boltonsbites on Instagram for more ;)

Wowwwww ordered sushi for delivery and literally just got all rice in the tuna roll. WOW. Probably the WORST delivery order I have ever had. Never again. This place will charge you $$$$ for a RICE ROLL. Terrible. The owner should be embarrassed for his business.
    The rice roll tasted sour.

This place is nice for dinner with friends and family. There's lots of seating available, and I like all the wood and warm lighting. It's definitely one of the prettier restaurants in the neighbourhood. However they were playing Disney music videos on the television which I found very strange. (There were no kids in the restaurant)

I had the avocado salad which is pretty pricey for what it was. I also had the spinach salad with miso yuzu sauce which I didn't really like. The combination of the orange flavour and miso didn't really work for me. I would say pass on the vegan sushi because it is ridiculously overpriced. There's supposed to be vegan aioli in the sushi but I couldn't taste it. It tasted mostly of avocado and it had too many sprouts. The vegetable tempura was fresh and I enjoyed it. The grilled eggplant was very good but I think it could have been cut to smaller pieces because it was difficult to eat with chopsticks. As you can tell, I ate a ton of dishes because the quantity of each item is quite small. The tokotsu ramen, my parents said was very good, along with the spicy miso ramen. It is probably the best value of thing in the menu. The grilled squid and takoyaki were also very good according to my brothers. They also said the scallop volcano is a must order from the menu. My brother enjoyed his chicken katsu bowl. My friend also liked her sushi platter and found that the fish to rice ratio was good. She also enjoyed the chicken karaage. The chicken yakitori set was also pricey and something they would not order again. All this food was for 6 adults. I do appreciate that this place has vegan and vegetarian options but be prepared to spend a lot in order to get full.

Decided to come here because I was strangely craving a crispy salmon roll while walking around Bloor and Christie.. which is.. Koreatown lol.  initially I wanted Korean but cravings were real so I ended up here. I was attracted by their sushi and skewers sign! The skewer selection was alright and I was a little bit disappointed (or maybe I was blind) but couldn't find any Pork Bellyyy. They did have tons of chicken skewers and the chicken thigh one looked good , but we didn't have any. Instead we ordered One Ox Tongue skewer for like $5 and it was alright for four tiny pieces. Prices per skewer were steeper than most other Asian places. Flavours were okay.

The bulgogi donburi was quite nice and the rice was soooo yummy with their tasty sauceeee.
Crispy roll was gooood but small as it only came with 5 pieces.
    Avocado salad was delish!
Drinks were great here. As always , they have sake and plum wine which were reasonably priced.

Overall, I'd go here for delicious food but expect slightly higher prices and smaller portions. Still not bad if you're craving Japanese in a predominantly Korean area lol! And best of all, it's super close to Christie Pits and the Christie subway station!!

I just had Japanhako for dinner, it was superb.

I've long wanted to try it, as it looks like a sharp new edition to Koreatown, but I still hadn't made it in. I was pleased to see it all up on my fave delivery apps.

I had their Tonkotsu ramen. Yes, it's late June. No, I don't care. I loved it! Their take away containers are better than the uge ramen setup, which I loved. Kudos for sending the meat of the dish in a bowl I can just pour my broth into. Everyone else, take note.

Their sushi list looks divine, and I'll be trying that soon. Hopefully in person!
